On September 13th, 2008 the Grand Opening event was held for our Woodroffe location.  Franchise owner, Julia Marin, donated $10 from every oil change that day to a local children's camp, Camp Cherith.

Another $10 was discounted off the oil change for all customers that day. She also raised money for the camp by having a car wash, BBQ, and raffle. Some lucky customers won free salon services courtesy of PURE JOY (the only all-natural salon in Ottawa), pizza courtesy of H&R, and Senators tickets! Radio station HOT 89.9 attended live on-air giving away prizes and showing their support. The whole day was a huge success servicing the most vehicles in one day throughout the Oil Changers franchise raising approximately $2500 for the childrens camp. Thank you to everyone who came that day and those who volunteered their time!

On October 13th, 2007 our new store on Princess Street in Kingston combined their Grand Opening with the 8th annual fundraising event for the Children's Wish Foundation.

Bob McBride, owner of both Kingston stores, and his daughter, Lynn Martini, organize this fundraising event every year and it is always a great success. Bob donated $10 to the Children's Wish Foundation for every oil change done that day, and customers received $10 off the regular price of their oil change as well. Kingston's KROCK 105.7 was broadcasting live on-site, and there was a bbq, refreshments and prizes. This year's event raised over $2,000 for a worthwhile cause.

On September 16th, 2006 our Kingston location held their 7th annual fundraising event for the Children's Wish Foundation.  Bob McBride and his daughter, Lynn Martini, organize this event every year and it is always a great success.For every oil change purchased that day, $5.00 was donated to the foundation, and for every litre of gas purchased at the Petro-Canada station on Gardiners Road, Petro-Canada donated 1¢.   Also, Kingston's KROCK 105.7 was broadcastsing live on-site, there was a bbq, refreshments and prizes, all for donations.  This year's event raised over $1240 for a worthwhile cause, plus the money raised by Petro-Canada. Congratulations Bob and Lynn for another successful fundraiser!

May 5th, 2007 was the Grand Re-opening event for our North York location. New franchise owner Anthony Schmalz generously donated $10 from each oil change to the Canadian Cancer Society AND gave every customer $10 off their oil change package.

They raised over $2000 for this worthy cause! If you were out that day you may have seen our billboard trailing behind a plane, it was a great sight. Tony also had complimentary coffee, muffins, donuts, and refreshments, plus the bbq was grilling all day long. Each customer also enjoyed a free fuel injector cleaner, courtesy of Complete Lube Supply.  Tony also held a raffle at the end of the day for those who made additional donations to the Canadian Cancer Society where one lucky winner took home a family pass of four to Canada's Wonderland.  Thank you to everyone who came to show their support!

Franchise owner John Hannon donated $9 from every oil change package sold at regular price to CHEO. Local radio station 93.9 BOB FM was live on location from 9am-1pm.  There was bbq, beverages, prizes and free give-aways.  Congratulations on a successful fundraiser John!another successful fundraiser!
